Necklace Size Guide
Chain Length Guide
Chain length affects how a necklace sits on the neck and how a pendant hangs. These are the most common even-inch lengths and how they typically fit when worn.
Common Necklace Lengths
| Length | Fit and Style |
|---|---|
| 16" | Sits at the base of the neck for a closer, fitted look |
| 18" | Rests just below the collarbone |
| 20" | Mid-chest placement and one of the most common everyday lengths |
| 22" | Slightly longer with a lower chest position, often paired with pendants |
| 24" | Longer, more relaxed fit often used for casual or streetwear looks |
How to Choose the Right Length
Most pendants pair well with chains between 18 and 24 inches, depending on how low you prefer the piece to sit. If you plan to layer multiple necklaces, choosing different lengths helps create a clean staggered look. Thicker chains may sit slightly higher than slimmer ones of the same length.
